The development of a brand: final thesis

The objective of the final thesis was to present and create the origins of a proper brand. In the first half the theoretical bases were presented. In the second part the graphic image of a brand with its name and logotype was presented. Presented is an excerpt of the final thesis, which begins with a visualisation in the header, the transfer of associations and thoughts, with sketching on the paper.
Symbol and name. Awareness, connectedness and image of the brand. Nox.
THE NAME is the basis of awareness and is, compared to most elements of the marketing programme, more long-lasting. Everything goes across the horizon of the momentary inspiration. It strives for the positive, powerful and identifiable image of the brand. The subject of the name rests on a story, which has contents-wise and visually connected the whole brand. On the waves of imagination one can connect himself through it to endlessness.
Explanation of name Nox:

BASIS FOR SIGN
The sign is a simplified word Nox. In it we can recognise the Mobius sign of endlessness. The characteristics of adrenaline sports are transported into its structure, which is mainly demonstrated in the strict form of the sign.
The sign is a basic element of an overall graphic image. The recognisability of the sign depends on proportions and colours.
The logotype is an accurate typographic composition of the letters in the word Nox and the spacings amongst them. It belongs to the Gotham typographic family. It is chosen in the capital letters, where the thickness of the letter is black.

In the construction net the definition of the sign is distinctly defined, which enables its correct execution. The construction net has the shape of a rectangle in tha ratio 4:6, which composes the sign. The construction net of the logotype and the sign is a distinct definition of proportions amongst art elements within the sign and the logotype, and between the two. It forms a meaning-wise and visual integral whole.
